Kadhambam Tamil Magazine!
Michigan Tamil Sangam (MTS) was established in 1975 as a non-profit organization with no religious or political affiliations. It was founded by a group of Tamil-speaking friends who first gathered in a basement, united by a shared vision to preserve and promote Tamil culture, language, and values. What began as a grassroots effort has since grown into a vibrant community dedicated to passing on their rich heritage to future generations.
Since 2010, Michigan Tamil Sangam has been offering Tamil language classes for young children, starting as early as age 3. Over the years, the program has grown significantly in popularity and impact. In the most recent academic year alone, more than 667 students participated, reflecting the continued success and community support for this initiative.
